Virgin Atlantic Airways Boeing 747 and Airbus 340 fleets completed Hi and welcome.
I have spent the last couple of months putting together prints of the rest of the Virgin Atlantic Airways B744 and A340 fleets not already covered. The current fleet, as at March 2011, is now complete and Prints covering all the current aircraft in the various fleets are now available through the site.
The montage below contains some of the new Airbus A340 photographic prints now included in the collection.

March 2011 - Closing commentsThank you again for visiting the site. I will continue to add additional images as time permits. Whilst at Gatwick recently I noticed that British Airways have painted a "Red Nose" on G-DOCX, one of their Boeing 737-436's, in honour of Red Nose Day later this month. I have also included a Print featuring this aircraft and this is shown below. |

British Airways Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 fleets updated |
January 2011 - Text 1Thank you for visiting Asian Aviation Photography. ....
This update includes photographs of most of British Airways' Boeing 757 and Boeing 767 fleets, certainly all that I could find in my UK image library, which only dates from 2001. Many of you will already be aware that BA retired its' Boeing 757 fleet at the end of October 2010. To recognise the important role played by this aircraft in BA's history, the airline repainted G-CPET into the "Negus" livery worn by the fleet in the 1980's, when the aircraft first joined the fleet. I have include a photograph of G-CEPT in this scheme. She looked magnificent.

I also spent some time going through my BMI photographs to see if I could fill in some of the aircraft missing from my site. As a result, I have added quite a few new photographs this time around. I also had my first BMI flight last month when I returned from Amman, Jordan on one of their A321's. It was a very pleasant experience.

January 2011 - Text 4 I am often asked what comes next. Well, I am currently digitising some of my large library of 35mm transparencies taken in Asia in the 1980's and 1990's. These will largely be offered as A4 Photographs or Prints and I intend to drip-feed these onto the site this year.
Thank you for your visit and please come back and see us again in the future.

 July 2010 - Artisan Image |
July 2010 - Text I have now completed the transfer of our site hosting to Artisan Internet, a leading service provider for Actinic, the UKs leading provider of professional ecommerce software, which I use for my site. I am pleased that this appears to have gone very smoothly, with no apparent disruption, but please let me know if you encounter any problems with the site.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 and Boeing 777-236 fleets addedWelcome and thank you for visiting the site. I am now making slow progress with the new site, but this has been at a price as I have been unable to update the current version for a few months now.
Over the last couple of years a number of people have approached me asking if I have a photograph of a particular aircraft. I therefore decided that I would start of increase the number of photographs of several airline fleets. I started this work with the large update last December, when I added a large portion of the easyJet and Flybe fleets. I have continued this theme this month by adding almost the entire British Airways Boeing 747-436 and B777-236 fleets

May 2010 - Text 2The B777 fleet is now complete bar one aircraft and the B747-436 fleet is only missing five of the aircraft. I have also added a few more of the easyJet and Flybe fleets, but still have a way to go to complete these. I am now working on the British Airways Boeing 757 and 767 fleets. |
 May2010-Image2 |
May 2010 - Text 3I have also added dozens of new images of aircraft from a wide range of other airlines. |

May 2010 - Text 4I will continue to add photographs on a regular basis and will update the fleet collections as opportunities arise |
New Photographs, including a big range of Flybe & easyJet photographsThank you for visiting the site. Apologies for the delay in making this update. We are currently updating the software used in our site. Unfortunately the existing site cannot be easily converted to the new software and this has meant that we are having to rebuild the site from the ground up. We are hoping to release the new site next year and this should offer a better browsing experience for our visitors.
In the meantime we will continue to update the existing site until the new site is ready for release. In this update we have added a further 320 photographs taken at Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton. Some of these images can be seen below.

December 2009 - Text - 3A couple of people have contacted us about images from Asia. We are pleased to advise that our next update, probably early next year, will include many new Asian airliner photographs taken in Hong Kong and Malaysia in the 1980's and 1990's. We look forward to you visiting us again in the future. |
New Photographs, including some A380 photographsThank you for visiting the site. This month we have added another 120 photographs taken at Heathrow and Luton Airports. These include some photographs of three of Emirates A380s and the KLM B737 wearing the "retro" scheme to celebrate the airline's 60th Anniversary. We also feature some photographs of a couple of British Airways B747s wearing the new One World titles, together with one of their A320s with its nose painted red in aid of Comic Relief. Amongst others, we have also added a number of interesting photographs to the Middle East & African Airline Photographs section. The Luton photographs were taken on a very cold and frosty day in January.
Our next update is likely to be later this year. Please come back and visit us again.
The montage below shows some of the photographs added this month.
